The library of the Industry and Technology Museum is a specialist library mostly for the museum employees for their scientific study of preparing collections; thus, the library is focused on collecting publications related to the museum departments: archaeology, geology, and mining. Persons not working in the museum can access the whole book collection in the reading room.
The library collections include both book deposits provided by the China Museum in Wałbrzych as well as the museum’s own book collection.
The library provides access to books, newspapers, and catalogues related to mining, but also to the archaeology of Poland and Europe, as well as publications on geology, mineralogy, palaeobotany, and zoology.
